Be who God called you to be.

I was born and raised in upstate New York.  I was baptized in the Roman Catholic church and went to mass and Sunday School regularly, with no regrets. During my teenage years, I had difficulty with the Roman Catholic church and its history in third world countries. I didn't have a problem with God, but I was feeling very weary of the church, as I knew it.

After graduating from high school, I went off to college, and lived the life of a typical male college student -- drinking, partying, and girls. During that time I played guitar in the gospel group and my roommate who was a Christian.  My roommate and I often engaged in long conversations about faith, but still i didn't connect the dots of Christianity.  Though in the back of my mind I still respected God and knew there was more to life.

It wasn't until I moved to Los Angeles after college, in hopes of a career in music, that I really started to get it.  I worked in retail for a gentleman who was a Christian, and I had a great deal of respect for him.  He lived out his faith everyday.  Professionally, I was having great success in retail, but I wanted the peace and joy that he had. And that is where my journey began.  I accepted the Lord.

After visiting many churches, I found a church with a fairly large population of young people who were at that same point in life that I was.  The gospel was preached regularly and there was an active street ministry, which was important to me.  My knowledge of the Bible and of God grew immensely during this time.

I was impressed to move and shortly after moving I met and married my beautiful wife. Through the years I attended church regularly, played guitar for the choir,  taught Bible study, and continued to grow in the Lord.

I felt the need to reach people like myself, who grew up with a respect for God, but no relationship with God.  So to that end I am developing this ministry to connect with people who know that God has more for them, yet don't quite know where to begin.

The Bible can be a journal of other people's adventures in faith, or a roadmap home.  Join me on the journey!
